pipercross filter fitment

i have a k5 gsxr 1000 engine and have bought a pipercross filter and blankin plate, i didn have rubbers so i bought some, when i put the rubbers onto the plate to match it up before i cut the holes, the plate is catchin on the top rail of the injectors and plugs.

will it just bend or will it try and putt the plate from the rubbers?

thanks for ya help

thanks for that thought, it might of been the same but my accelerator housin is on the other side and the top injectors are stickin in the way i wanted to do the same as you and put it as low down as possible so the bonnet would fit without it catching thanks for your time
