interuptor fuel pump

is there any way of testing a fuel pump to see if its a interuptor type or not? someone on here pointed out one off a zxr7. i dont want to fit and end up floading/knackering something up

Do you mean it should stop once it reaches the right pressue?

If so nip up the end of the outlet pipe, carbed bike fuel pumps only do a few PSI, if it stops clicking all is fine

thanks and just tested and yes it is a interuptor type ( thank god )
