bike clocks, guages etc etc
I'll get straight to the point.
got a zx12r. want to use the clocks from the bike
IVA manual says:
17 Speedometer and Reverse Gear
Note 2: It is acceptable if the maximum speed of the vehicle is indicated by the last increment on the speedometer which must not be more than
19mph beyond the last 20mph increment.
So can i use the speedo as the car wont go anywhere need the top speed of the bike?

What does the rest of the rule say? Note 2 doesn't mean a lot without the context of the whole thing.
However I guess that it's just a case of your car can't be able to do a higher speed than what it is posible for the speedo to display.
Lot's of tin-tops have speedos that go far higher than the speed the car can actually achieve.

as long as your cars top speed is shown on the speedo then its fine
if the speedo goes to 180mph, but the cars top speed is 140mph, then fine

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
