Power commanders - are they engine specific?

Hi all,

Just a quick question - are power commanders engine specific?

Reason I'm asking is I know of a Power Commander III for sale, which has been used on a car engine. Is there a good chance I'd need to change the connectors to connect it up to my R1?

Cheers,
Jek

Cheers, I thought that might be the case!

If its of any use to those building BMW donor cars, its from a M42 engine. At £120 delivered I thought it was a decent price-

link (on e30 zone forum, not sure if you need to sign in?)

Ebay here I come!
