R1 extra air vent through gearbox housing.
Had a great day at the track today, but unfortunately a mad vibration set in very close to the pit lane (fortunately?). The engine reved normally with
the clutch down, and sounded fine. However, although the gears seemed to change and engage OK I stooped.
Good job too!
I have a hole in the casing, it looks like the clutch basket have disintergrated.
So does anyone know where I can get a cheap R1 clutch basket and casing?
And anyone care to guess what happened??

There's a few baskets and casings on Ebay at the moment.
Failing that, give Mal Curnin a cal at Yorkshire Engines - you might strike lucky and he has the remains of a suitably fubar'd R1 with the right
parts intact.
