It that the fuel filler-cap on the scuttle with the fuel tank below?

Can't see Mr IVA allowing that.

Fog looks too low to me (it was one of our fail points) ;(

Beautiful machine though

Why? From memory, the requirement is that its not in the passenger compartment.

Looks nice. I can't make up my mind about that front suspension though.

From the pictures (and it's always hard to tell from them) for IVA I'd say...
Fog light too low.
Radius on; bonnet catches, headlight brackets, side panel openings, mirrors, suspension bolts.

Are the seat belt anchorages lower than the seat holes? If so thats another one.

Not sure about the fuel tank if it's under the scuttle, unless it's got a firewall between it and the cockpit.

You may struggle with the side indicators in that position
you need to be able to see them fomr the rear at an angle of 5 dgrees above and below the horizontal plane.

? trim around the exhaust outlet

That is one sweet looking car!

I just hope mine comes within 50% of that.

Pat yourself on the back for a job well done, and here's hoping for the IVA.

looks well smart.

.... but there may be some radius issues.
- mirror bases
- bonnet catches (I made some rubber covers you can have, assuming I have not chopped them up - see my previous posts on how to make).
- groove on handbrake handle (slip a piece of bicycle inner tube on top)

another radius couple:

the inside edges on both passenger and driver sides (ali interior panel where it folds over side chassis rail)

the side panels where they flare out

rest as above

fuel filler may be a problem (likley depends on where you take it like)

nice though

Time for a change!

Hi, Thanks for the kind words etc...

Got my test date now - 26th April @ Leighton Buzzard.

In reply,

Tank is std dax and has gone through SVA / IVA there is a solid ali skin between it and the passenger compartment.

Fog light is 250mm from the ground to the centre.

Not yet been round the car with edge trim but thanks for the pointers, however reading Ashg's IVA report in CKC looks like the testers dont like edge trim fitted to things to cover the radius, more 'factory' type covers are asked for.

Seat Belts are higher than the holes in the seats.

I've got some rubber caterham covers for the bonnet catches i'm hoping to fashion onto them but thanks for the offer.

Side repeaters, yes Hmm not sure what to do about this other than mount them to the front arch, anyone got any pics of this done?

Digidash has the SVA upgrade to display MPH on display also have the brake light sticker.

Reflectors Ah yes knew there was something missing! got them in a box in the garage.

Yes the brake light is an emarked hella item.

Ash.

I guessed you had most of the radiuses still to do but it's always worth pointing any out that can be seem just in case. Couldn't tell the belts from the pic's.

The "illuminated surface" of the fog light has to be 250mm min from the ground. So thats 250mm to the lower edge of the lens, NOT the centre as I understand it.

Leighton Buzzard are very keen on their radii. Doug is a very nice chap, and the new guy seems to be friendly enough too.
