New project ready to start...
Right, sold my Indy on Sunday and have already sourced my next project and will be hopefully picking it up on Saturday.
It's a Mk1 MG Midget that's in a pretty unbuilt state at present. All of the structural stuff has been meticulously re-done over a 5 year
period by an experienced and skilled chap. Most of the car is there to finish it off, including a set of wire wheels and a rebuilt race gearbox.
It will be getting an R1 engine and frogeye bodywork, along with some suspension and brake upgrades and a roll cage.
The intention is for it to be entirely '60's race car to the eye, but be thoroughly modern and fast underneath.
That is unless I get bitten by the full restoration bug and keep it original.

Austin in the Avtar but I never got round to replacing them. The shafts are a bit of a weakness on the Austin the Midget ones are stronger. The
springs where fitted and improved the handling immensley, Sold the car on and the Old chap wanted standard ones. I keep meaning to put them on the Bay
