Anyone else disappointed

Has anyone been disappointed by the latest tuner studio upgrade. You now have the full version in it's final package ( I believe) BUT the live ve analize and the compare tune tab have gone. Unless you pay for the full package that is.
Of course it is the guys perogative to charge for this as I'm sure he has put in a lot of time and effort. But it seems a pity to have taken away features that were once there for free.
Now I have to work out whether to
a go back to megatune
b stay with what is now the poorer version of Tuner studio
c buy the full package
d just bite the bullet and get it rolling roaded.
Hey ho such is life.

Just run an older version and refuse the upgrade prompts?

How much is it anyway? I am not using it anymore.

$39.95
I did try to download an earlier one but the live ve and compare seems to have been removed from them as well
Unless anyone else has a copy or any ideas.
The time limited ones I had would not work after the expiry times so I HAD to upgrade.

Agreed I am a bit annoyed too.

I paid for the MLV license, not because I needed to but that I wanted to support the project which is good.

Now he wants money for the TunerStudio, and has removed features from the free version.

I can't blame him but it is a bit annoying as I feel that I have paid already.

The solution (as stated) is to go back to an earlier version, and refuse upgrades, but it seems a shame.

There are other bits of tuning software out there (MegaTune was always reliable for me).

I'm not knocking the guy I mean it seems to be a great programme etc but the frills were there and then removed unless you pay for them.
