Oil pressure gauge recommendations

You knows the score.... I want one that is accurate but isn't going to break the bank. Electronic preferable as well. Any recommendations?

Stack does look good actually... I was expecting it to be a lot more that £62!

Hi

Stack or SPA dual gauge. Spa setup comes with the added bonus of a water temp or other configuration and external warning led's with optional remote warning led's as well as battery warning device built in. Bit more for £129 but well worth the investment and deadly accurate.

Cheers Matt

Adam,
the other good thing about racetech is that you can drive across to Wallingford to collect it. Always a nice drive across for me.

I'd give them a ring as they are really nice chaps.

Regarding oil pressure, I have a gauge mounted in the sump (this is stock on the WP), and also a 35psi switch in the main oil gallery. The light comes on sometimes even when the gauge is fairly high. So, if I were doing it again I would mount the pressure sensor into the main gallery. One other thing, I have heard that if you hard mount the sensor to the engine, then it will get broken from the vibration, so you need to connect it via a short tube. All those fittings and adapters add to the total cost.

The racetech one comes to more than the stack one once you price in the sender as well. I think i'm going to go for the £62 Stack one as I'm driving past Merlin on monday anyway and they do an electric one in PSI with sender.

I wish I could afford to splash £150 on the really nice stuff but I cant justify speding a 3rd of the value of the engine on a non-critical part.

Matt, the oil cooled one has the pressure switch in the clutch side of the main gallery and an M16x1.5 blanking plug in the other side which I plan to use for the pressure sender. I might just risk it with the vibration for the moment, as I might look at adding an accusump at some point in the near future (depending on how oil pressure issues are looking) which would then require a rejig.
