in short very hot,
fit it to a piece of ally to help disipate the heat or some have fitted computer fans above it to help keep it cool,
try to keep it in air flow to keep it cool,
or it may die,

Have you considered replacing it with more modern technology? The world of semiconductors has moved on.

These fh12 are more efficient and generate no heat. What is there not to like? They are used on modern R1 and zx10r and probably others. No more
expensive from a breaker than the fireblade one (I suspect).
