Bike Engine Sources and YZF1000R, VFR1200 questions.

Hello all

I/we are looking to source two bikes for my Bike Engined Aries and our own designed RGB competitor.

Can anyone recomend a good source of cheap bikes, preferably complete damaged bikes as we want more than just engine, clocks and wiring.

Also anyone know roughly what we should pay for damaged Honda CBR900RR's for instance.

Also I'm sure I've heard mention of someone using a VFR12000 in an Aries Chassis? Does anyone have any info on this and whether the engine/gearbox is upto it.

Also are YZF1000R Thunderaces up to the task of bike engine applications?

Cheers

I have a complete TAce, less soot pipes that I keep toying with putting into a chassis. They, or at least mine, has only 5 gears though but when I used the bike it had massive power. Lots and lots of torque everywhere and smooth power delivery that just gets more and more as the revs climb.

Should work well in a light car!

Has anyone else used one?

Any links to his lists as it would be very useful.

Apart from the usual bits we also want all of the brakes, the rear shocks and few other bits that we can scavenge.
