what engine to use
my original plan was a bike engine but decided to go car enginr way but what engine?
I really fancy forced induction.
what engines are availible.

Its going to go in haynes chassis
My budget is 1 to 1.5k for the engine.

MX5 engine maybe? silvertop zetec, is that 1.5k including loom, ecu etc.. If its just the engine then go Duratec

MX-5 1.6. Cheap as chips and plenty about. No faffing with gearbox as its the right way already, and is one of the sweetest around. Non interference
engine should the cam belt ever fail, and if you need more power, a Greddy turbo kit is easily available and should still come under budget. (You
could probably get a whole car for your budget then sell the rest to recoup you costs) Such a great set up I'm currently putting one in my MNR
Vortx! What's there not to like?
