Kawasaki CDI pinout arrangments.
I have here a ZX6R F2 CDI.
I also have the corresponding wiring diagram.
The wiring diagram has the pins arranged in a row.
The CDI box has them in two rows.
Now.
Being tight and stupid, I've bought a loom off an earlier bike. The plugs are identical, but the wiring is slightly different.
(Can you see where this is going yet ?)
What I'm looking for is to establish the convention of where the tope and bottom rows relate to wiring diagrams.
I onlt want to use the plugs and the first 100mm or so of wire, then it'll be fairly simple (yeah, right) to wire in the pickup coil, coils,
earths and 12v feeds to the CDI.
Any and all advice welcome up to and including, "buy the right loom, stupid".
Here's how they compare.
The plugs pattern is identical.
So, if I know the wiring for definite, I can make it work.
