Selling car to overseas
Does anybody know which parts of the registration certificate we keep and fill out when selling a car to overseas [France]?
Thanks

Isn't there a special bit for exporting a car?

i think its the brown part. you fill out and tear off a part to give to the new owner and post the rest to DLA. i've bought a few cars and
exported them to Southern Ireland and i think thats how it was done.

You send DVLA the purple bit that says the car has been permanently exported and send the rest to the new owner.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

there is an export section, you fill out and send to the dvla. give the rest to the new owner as they may need it for import / registration reasons.
