R1 clutch lever movement
I've recently fitted a stiffer diaphragm spring to my 03 R1, but I'm concered that I may not have put things back together correctly.
With the torsional spring on the clutch lever un hooked, the lever rotates freely back and forth by about 30 degrees or so.
I must admit to having little understanding of how a bike clutch works, but I would have expected the lever to have at least some resistance to
movement even without the spring fitted.
Does this sound right? Sorry for the very basic question, but I've reassembled the lever arm and clutch cover a few times and can't see
what I've done wrong.

No that's fine, mine is the same, other than the coil spring there is no resitance until fork engages with clutch mech
