3sgte engine from rev3 mr2 turbo / gt-4
due to a change of plans and lack of cash my current project is on hold and my 3sgte engine is for sale
engine has been re-built with acl bearings, arp big end bolts, new mls head gasket and head bolts and every gasket/seal has been changed.
valve clearance has been adjusted with new shims and engine has new cambelt kit on it.
sale includes hks plugs, magnicor leads and the bits that alot of breakers take off like inlet manifold, TB, fuel injectors, exhaust manifold etc.
engine needs a knock sensor and crank pully to complete the job

Free bump - great engines, been looking for one myself but this is a bit too far along the rebuild stage for me. Good luck with the sale, 300hp
without trying from an I4, worthy engine.

thanks mate. im gutted it has to go. i had a gt-4 st205 before i built my rocket which is why i got this engine for my project. all i did is put a
big intercooler on it and turned up the boost by 0.2 bar and it kicked subaru bum all day long

I wanted to build a kit around the 4wd system but there's no way you could package it without it having a horrifically bulbous nose, so RWD
middy is ideal for these.

your quite right i think. i wanted to put a 3sgte in my rocket but was forced to sell the car before i could do it :-(
you could but it in a 7 with a lexus gearbox as i understand it but i don't recall seeing it done so could be a first???

Loads of people have done it, just not in the UK. Plenty of the old Supra factory vehicles dropped the 6 cyl and put the 3SGTE in with the manual RWD
gearbox (W55? maybe) which should bolt right up to the 3S, ended up better off than with the heavy straight 6.
