Revolution wheel nuts

I've bought some new 13" CXR wheels for my bec Fisher Fury but now need to modify my old Revolution wheel nuts from closed to open as on the new wheels the studs become longer. The nuts will then fit both the old and new wheels.

Does anyone know where I can get the old type sleeved (17mm sleeve dia) flat fit type nuts from. Revolution now only supply the 60 degree 'normal' wedge type nuts for their new wheels.

Neither Demon T or rally Design supply them.

Any second hand ones would do even better. Thread size is 12mm.

My local blacksmith made a mistake and completely drilled out one of my nuts so I'm one short and would also like to have some spares.

Cheers

John

Google is your friend on this.
Replacement ones may not have exactly the same head pattern though.
Also check there's enough stud thread to pull the wheel up tight against the hub - if not use a junior hacksaw to take off a few mm's off the sleeve.
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe

Try Keith at Scarborough Race Developements. He seems to have bags of nuts, sleeves, inserts etc and he knows his stuff.
