chance of a zx10 engine
I have the chance a fairly cheap 07 zx10 engine. Apparently it has a slight issue with 5th gear. How difficult is it to change the selector fork or
the dog gear on these engines.
Also, can anyone tell me if my zx9 headers will fit the zx10.
Thanks
Brad.

Gearbox job will be reasonably straight forward but will require crankcase halves to be split.
ZX9 headers will be completely different to ZX10r
hope that helps

Kind of slightly off topic here, but can you get a taller 5th and 6th gear for the ZX10R?

Just did my zzr1200 gearbox. To be honest, a lot easier than you think. Lots of freezer bags for bolts and take photos as you go and you cant go
wrong.
