Dynojet kit fireblade

Just fitting my dynojet kit this afternoon to my 893 fireblade, all going well, but just got to the last bit fittng the needles, removed the old needles and on each was a E clip, a seat washer and a half shim washer.
Now in the instructions sent from Andy at AB, it just says remove the seat washer and the E clip, then fit the the old seat washer to the new needle, but do not fit the half shim washer in the kit, but it does not mention either removing the old half shim washer, or fitting it to the new needle, I think I should just fit the E clip and seat washer, but just need someone who's done it to confirm, I could ring Andy on monday, but as Ive got all the carbs in bits on the dining room table, and the house is full of petrol fumes, our lass is getting a bit upset about it .

Hi Paul
just spotted your thread, you are bang on - fit the e-clip and old seat washer, do not use the smaller half shim, these represent half spacing of the groove positions to give greater flexibility on set up, however numerous dyno runs suggest that 2nd groove from top and no half shim works best.
Will be at the unit on Sunday if you are uncertain
best regards
Andy
