R1 Trouble finding neutral

I've got a 5vy engine in my MNR i've just changed the clutch friction to an aftermarket one, can't remember the make i'm affraid and replaced the steels with yamaha ones, since then, and i think gradualy getting worse i'm finding it hard to get into neutral when the engines running any ideas what might be causing it?

Have you tried adjusting it?
Could be that the friction plates have swelled in the oil and are now not clearing fully.
(Thats why they advise soaking prior to fitting)
Could also e new plates are sticking on the old basket?
