2.0 zetec with gsxr TB's mpg
evening all
sorry if this has been asked before,
I have searched but cant find the answer
I am getting ready to have a tank made for 2.0 blacktop running 1000cc GSXR TB's..
the engine is standard, and will have custom exhaust and omex management.
I may have a little play with it at a later stage
It is going in a track only 7,
what sort of mpg should I expect..
I am thinking between 15-20mpg?
I would like to have a tank thats capable of running for 1hr,
as I have dreams off doing the Birkett
any help gratefully appreciated

when i ran my tiger/zetec with dellorto's... 22-24 mpg on the road....13 -14mpg...on the track
when i fitted bike carbs & piper 285 cams....on the road 30-32mpg....on the track 20-22mpg
with the cams the zetec went from 155 bhp to 186 AND did much better on fuel

general road use above 30 as said brother in law gets 33 - 34 from injection on a 200 bhp zetec I do around 30 - 31 on bike carbs on a 1.8 zetec
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone
