R1 Baffle Plate - Installing
Hi,
I've got my baffle plate for the R1 4xv engine, but I'm not being able to fit it.
Could really use your help.
Getting a bit frustrated as problems just keep showing up...and it's been 2 years since I've started...
My problem is the oil level sensor casing in the sump is hitting the baffle plate.
Here is a pic of the baffle:
 
And one of the sump.
Should there be a hole for the oil level casing?
Any help very very welcome...

You could throw away the oil level sensor and fit a more useful oil pressure sensor.
It is normal to drill and tap the water/oil cooler bolt and fit an oil pressure sensor there.

Hi,
I've mounted a Oil filter Sandwich plate for the oil pressure.
The thing is, it's not the actual oil level sensor that is in the way, but actually the bit in the sump it bolts to...
Should i start cutting the sump ?!?!?
