blade wiring revisited
just picked up a 95 blade motor with wiring harness
the plugs and some of the colours in the harness don't match up
rectifier: 3 yellow. red/white. black. white.
the 3 yellow and white go to a red plug the black wire also goes to this plug but splits off and eventually goes to the fuse box
the red /white wire goes to a red plug which plugged into what ever it plugs into has a 30amp fuse there are 3 more wires coming out of this plug
red. yellow/red and green/red....
any ideas

Can you take some pictures of the specific plugs or draw a diagram, a picture paints a thousand words etc etc
Have you got the starter solenoid, the bit that connects the battery into the loom cos thats what a lot of those you describe connect to?

Hi Tony,
Here's a wiring diagram for my car, maybe it will help.

cheers rich
been studying your diagram best part of yesterday, problem is i've got more wires than yours coming out of the regulator and the alternator
plugs don't match up, don't know wether connecting the 3 yellows in any order will do.

i had same problem tony- i just went eany meany myney mo for the 3 yellow wires- its a 3 phase AC supply on yellow wires from alternator upon which it
is converted to DC in the rectifier for charging the battery. i reckoned, with assistance from alistair 668's dad that the phase rotation, ie
way round of yellow wires didn't matter so i just connected em randomly and it worked fine! of course maybe i just guessed
correctly.........
