What engine???(fireblade)
Hi guys i'm taking delivery of my mk indyblade soon and am a little confused as the year/capacity of the engine
On the v5c it says 928cc
Engine no. c33E-2301781
Am i right in thinking the 928cc engines didn't start till 2000, but the engine no. indicates its a 98 or 99 model????
Its definitely carbed
Infinate wisdom required!!!!

Right, the original carbed blades were 893cc, the later carbed blades were 919cc, before they switched to fuel injection. Then it went 929cc I
believe?

There was also a 918cc Carbed engine, I have seen it on the side of one of my previous blocks, unless its a typo on the V5.

Carbed makes it a 893/918/919, if you have a look above the clutch cover its stamped on the block.
Nice strong engine
Stick on a turbo and you have busa power without the cost or expensive when it goes bang.

Lock up clutch
Low pressure turbo
Intercooler
Cobble it together locost style, mine added up to around £750 on top of the base engine (untouched apart from clutch)
There are kits, these will cost you £££, if I was investing this amount of money I would go for a later Kwak engine.
Regards Mark
