An appeal for A1 ZX12R owners

I am still having problems with my ZX12R engine, and after having it for 2 weeks, I have just been let down my local Kwak specialist for testing the ECU in a running bike, so I am desperately trying to find someone who would try my ECU on your bike/car. I can assure you, there is no risk of damage to your set up! Of course I will cover all postage and beer costs for anyone prepared to help out a LCBer whose car has not worked for the last 7 weeks!

Just read your post and the previous thread - bearing in mind the history - fuses blowing etc it could well be that the reg rec went down closed circuit and fired a shed load of volts into the system, I have seen this with a number of kawasakis over the years in fact it happened to my brothers zxr 750 which promptly shafted the ecu. I think I have a box of zx12 stuff but can't remember what year it came off, I can check tomorrow to see what we have and if you want to try swapping some stuff over you are more than welcome to try what we have to find your fault. Just as a precaution I would disconnect the reg rec in case it is overvolting while you test kit. U2u me a contact number and I will let you know what we have

Many thanks to Andy and Rob for their assistance, and for everyone else who has offered their support and guidance up until now. It is my birthday in 55 minutes, and Rob and Andy have given me the gift of hope - we all need some of that every now and then! Thanks chaps.
