What's it worth
People, a mate at work has just written his 'P' plate fireblade off, what would be a sensible figure to offer him for the salvage (to include log
book etc). The emgine is perfect, just the frame and bodywork damaged.

Any 'blade engine, loom and carbs etc is going to cost you around a grand, so work on the theory that the engine is worth around that and see how
much else you'd be able to salvage to sell (rear wheel, shock etc?), but bear in mind the bits might be a hassle to sell to get any money back, so
I'd not go much, if anything above what you'd pay for an engine from a breaker to be honest.
