I think I need to get out more
Watching a re-run of Cagney And Lacey (it was after a run of night shifts, I'd just got up and turned on the TV while my miniscule brain fought
itself to life!) and found that, whilst as a callow youth would have gone for Sharon Gless' character Christine Cagney, now found myself leaning
toward Tyne Daly's Mary-Beth Lacey. I think it's something to do with getting old................

I agree, you need to get out more..
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Cheryl Ladd - 2 reasons, Josie and the Pussycats - and if it came to it, I reckon I could have taken David Ladd but wouldn't have a chance
against the Six-million. Dollar Man

It's always been Mary-Beth for me...
Although I do see a vague similarity to Sara Ramirez, and she's perhaps more my generation!

Google them and see them as they are now, it will burst your bubble, they've aged too

I know what they look like now, I'm under no illusions, though I'd hazard to say Tyne Daly has weathered better than Sharon Gless. At
least they look their age, not like some horrid plastic fantastics a-la many Hollywood celebs
Sara Ramirez, in the words of Kenneth Connor in many a Carry On flim, "Cwwoargh!"
