Oil Pressure Gauge

I want to fit an oil pressure gauge and after looking at whats available, I can get either a mechanical or electrical one. Can either be fitted to my ZX9R C2? If so, which is the best to fit?

Thanks

If you go electric, you could either replace the standard pressure switch or run a T piece from this orifice and run both standard switch and oil pressure sended. If you replace the switch with a sender unit do not screw the sender directly into the block as the extra weight of the sender will strip/crack the thread in the block. Mount the sender o the chassis and connect it using a piece of high pressure pipe

Guys, I need to buy a VDO oil pressure sensor for my R1 and there are a few flavours with different ranges - is 0-5 BAR the one most commonly used on BECs? This was what I used with the car engine, but my engine manual only gives oil pressure @ idle.

Thanks
