What's the best MSA list 1a tyre for a BEC

As above, the years auto solo's start soon so I,m after some list 1a tyres.

The car is around 500kg with myself in place, I really want some second hand tyres if possible, the ones are have are shot.

Wheels are 13", 6" rims on the front, 7" on the rear so ideally 185/60/13 & 205/60/13 would be best, a set of a539's would be fine.

What would other peoples choices be before I hit eBay?

Thanks Mark

A539s are a bit out dated IMO. For dry and if you have the money (and they are available) good quality michelins or pirellis would be best bet. If on less of a budget Yoko AD08s.
For very wet conditions I would highly recommend Uniroyal rainsports 1 2 or 3. Dont expect them to last in the dry, especially on some of the harsh surfaces Solos are run on.

I ran Kuhmo Ecstas on a Saxo in the Standard Production car class a few years ago and they were pretty good - had some really good reviews too.

That's right but the 'ecsta' name lends itself to a miriad of tyres. I used the ZZ3 tyre on my 530 M-Sport and thought they were pretty good.
