The new lightweight?
The old 2b chassis weigh a ton, you'll need something with torque for them
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I wouldn't - a Robin Hood with a pinto and type 9 weighs a humungous 820kg. Take away the pinto and box and put a bike engine back in and
you'll be at around 700kg.
700kg is not BEC territory - more like 450-500 is where you should be.
Edit starts here
P.S. Never thought about the new lightweight. I believe that would be much more suitable.

I'm pondering on the new lightweight and fireblade, but no news form Robin Hood on potential engines yet!
Pat...

However a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

And my 'book' locost - with capri axle weighs 602kg. I think it depends on spec on the day it gets SVA'd I suppose. Windscreen,
trim fuel etc.
P.S. Have had two Robin Hoods myself. Great fun I had with both

There was one distinct advantage that the second Robin Hood had over a book locost....
I fit in it - with a seat...
I'm still try to work around that particluar minor inconvenience with my beloved locost....
