Paddle shift options
Paddle shift shift cable or rod operation, what you got?
Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

I'd imagine cable operated would be the simplest solution

I have the same question and it depends on where your gear selector is. For me I have a cable but have found a simpler solution with rods.
or at least I think so.

Rod on mine, I have a vertical pole up by the bulkhead which terminates a long rod from the gearshift and drops it down to the bike shift via a second
small rod.
