New Exhaust
Hi,
I’m looking to purchase a new full exhaust system for my kit car with a ZZR1400 lump situated in it.
I would like to know-
What’s the advantage of a re-packable exhaust?
What’s peoples preferred option in sourcing a company to do this?
What are the costs involved?
What sort of time frame would you envisage?
Is anyone running a titanium exhaust?
Are there any advantages to titanium or is it just weight saving?
Cost of titanium exhaust?
I like noise but would have to be = to or < 105dB for track restrictions, it would also be used on the road.
Thank you

Custom made is the best way to go to get a system you want and spec your after.
Someone like Simpson race exhausts will do a fantastic job and defiantly get the noise down to what you require for trackdays etc.
Having a re packable system will allow you to alter the noise suppression a little if needed and also replace when spent and the noise starts to creep
up over time.

Not necessarily the cheapest up front option but at least you get what you need and there has been no noise test failures from ours at any circuits

The welding and craftsmanship is second to none, I did a lot or research when I chose my system, I now have a nice sounding powerful engine that looks
good also
