ZX9 Oil pick up on a short sump
Hi All,
Cleaning up my bike engine for doing my conversion.
Fitted my short sump but noticed the oil pick up is too long.
What have people done to make it fit, looks like i could chop it but want to check before hand.
Thanks

I chopped mine down. If my memory is correct it was an easy job as it was made if plastic.
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

And did it just plug straight back in as the end looks slightly bigger.
Aye it's plastic, I did think about just chopping it but wanted to check.

Make sure the pickup is not flat on the bottom of the shortened sump. I fitted small spacers to the bottom of the pickup in case
it dropped with bumps or vibration.
