Carbs
Anyone know what these two pipes should connect to?
Pipes
Back into the air filter or somewhere else?
So far i know they're not part of the carb warmer system, because the cooling system is sealed and OK. And they are not fuel inlet pipes,
because that comes in from the bottom.
Sorry if I'm being thick.
Cheers

Aren't they the fuel vent pipes for the float chambers?
I think they probably are (been taking the coolant pipes off my zx9r carbs today). It might be an idea to lengthen these and point them towards the
road in case something goes wrong. They point towards the exhaust otherwise, which ain't too great

Thanks Monkey, I'll join them with a T-piece and run them down to the road then. Was concerned that they were vacuum pipes or something.
Cheers Mike

Yes Dave, comes out the top between carbs 1-2 and 3-4.
Where does it go on yours?

As monkey says, I think they are breathers for the carbs which usually breathe back into the airbox. I guess you could put a hole through the sausage
filter backplate and breath it back in that way, but I'd be tempted to just route it elsewhere like youve said, or best of all, into a proper
catch tank.
