R1 Fixing Bolt Identification

Hey up,

Does anyone know what type of bolt needs to be used for the upper mounting of the R1 engine (ie the one that is at the front top when engine is in the car)?

Cheers,
Oli

If it's the one I'm thinking of then it's M12 x 1.25. Don't quote me on that though

Nope, the wishbone bolts are M12x1.5mm, whereas the engine bolts are M12x1.25mm. Go to your local Yamaha dealer and buy some genuine items - they're about £1.80 a piece!

Ah, that would do it! Make sure they're at least 10.9 though, and not stainless....

Tell me to shut up if you knew that already!
