Dynojet
If I decide to lose the standard R1 airbox and fit an aftermarket foam filter, what dynojet stage kit should I use - 1, 2 or 3?
Cheers,
Oli

Yeah that sounds like a plan, but need to find out about the dynojet kit thing first.

From the advice I've been passed, no Dynojet kit is particularly good! Given it's a fairly modern motor you'd be best spending a
few hours on a dyno (TTS?) - you'll never know how the fuelling is working otherwise - also assume a non-std exhaust??

Let us know what difference it makes to the car if you do decide to change to a foam filter.

I would agree with Kissy, if you can, get it properly set up on a rolling road as picking a Dynojet kit would be just guessing really, a lot would
depend on other things like how free flowing your exhaust was etc etc

What if I had a dyno session after the rejet kit was fitted - would that not gain me more power?
I take it all of you are using the standard airbox with standard jets and filter?

Probably not, the jets etc is exactly what a good dyno place will play around with to get your engine running optimally, so they might end up junking
some of the Dynojet bits you've put in anyway. The best bet would probably be to tell them you want a Dynojet fitted and a tune at the same time
so they can match it all up.

BTW mine will be running injection, so dont have any comparisons Im afraid. If I use the airbox I'll have to cut it down othersie I wont be able
to see where Im going
