Accusump ?

Does anybody have any experiance with a accusump ? I'm thinking of installing one on my CBR1000 engine , just to keep it safer.

Have a search on Blatchat as these have been discussed quite a few times on there, some people swear by them but quite a few people think the logic behind them is flawed and they could actually do more harm than good.

Are you planning on running slicks or something then? If not then with normal sticky rubber the CBR1000 is pretty much bulletproof, and even if it did go pop a new engine is only the cost of an Accusump, so IMHO hardly worth spending the money on trying to protect it when it costs so little and doesnt need protecting anyway.

last time it was disscussed on the Yahoo list i think it was "Mike Field" who spoke about is data logger trace with accusump on and off, on = steady pressure whole lap, off= drops in pressure on certain corners.
