can someone please help ,,how do you get a r1 carb engine through the emissions test? its ok on first idle but on fast idle the lambda is way to high
and there is no way that we can get it down.
any advice is welcome as my sva is tomorrow

Ive never had to do an SVA emissions test with a post 95 engine before, so I havent got much first hand knowledge but the others might be able to help
a little quicker if you maybe post a bit more detail on your exhaust setup , such as do you have a Cat, have you blocked up the AIS etc?

dude,on thursday we pi55ed the fast idle emmisions ,co was .2 and the hc was 56 and the lambda was 1.010 the problem was getting the low idle co to
below.5 ,,so i went weaker on the mixture which took the lambda up to around 1.028 but the low idle was still over .5 ....i said to you we should
have a look at the float hight as i was sure the fuel was dribbling up out of the mainjet/needle jet on carb 1 and 4 .Its to l8 now so go for the
retest ,get it passed on every thing else and then we can strip the carbs and give them a good going over,,,i dont think the air bleed system will
work as the lambda is nearly at its limits allready
