Triumph 955 RS
Good morning everyone
I've just bought a 52 plate bike for my project.
I'm hoping to use most of it switches, loom, clocks even rad if possible
I was wondering if anyone has any experience of these engines?
This is to go in my Barchetta 955i (sounds good )
the reviews put this bhp at 118 but the daytona at 128 what are the difference is it just a ecu change
The body shell is at z cars waiting for a bulid slot

You won't regret it....awesome noise those babies make especially if you use a race can.
Try and get a second hand OE race pipe and can as they make the world of difference and don't make the exhaust short...try and use the downpipes
as they would be on the bike then.....make secondary pipe longer if you can.....
But what you really need to see and hear is a nice blue car with same engine...(Chaos99 on hear)

Thanks for the responses
Are we talking about a power comander ! for that extra bhp
the car is mid engined and I'm going to use the stock down pipes and extend off of there to the can.
I have heard nothing but good things about this engine. Has anyone had any bad reports on this engine just to bring me back to earth.
I have some nice ally uprights from MNR and the back end is going to be similar to Z cars mini
I had the R1 in all the mags but it's gone now
I was at the factory and the 4wd ultima will be wired and engines running this week!!! having looked at the car close up that is going to be a monster
of a car bring on the top gear track.
I saw what the next project is going to be!!
Not BEC but a TVR with skyline mechanicals 850 bhp 4wd
Thanks for the input on the engine this is a great forum
