mounting R1 clocks

I have a set of 1998 R1 clocks to go on my dash. Due to the depth, they will have to be mounted behind the dash but there isn't much space around the edge of the displays. If I just cut a hole out of the GRP I'll have to be VERY carefull with the file. Is there an easier or neater way to do it?

Undo the 4 screws on the back and split the cluster front to back.

Than all you need to do is place the front section on the dash and draw round it then cut it out accurately - simple!
