AAAAAAAAAGH!
HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO DO THIS BEFORE I GET IT RIGHT?
Right, my question. Is there any way in the world to clamp a 10mm thread without taking the whole damn thing apart yet again and puting a nut on it,
then reassembling the whole thing for the 3rd time.
I've just been fitting my clutch cable to my clutch pedal. the tightness of the pedal box means that you only get 29° of spanner turn beofre
you have to take the spanner off, rotate it, tune another 29°...
I hate fiddly m5 bolts. I hate nylocks. I hate having to work kneeling in the passenger side of the car, leaning on the bars of the transmission
tunnel head down in the driver's footwell working at arms length with spanners held with finger tips, holding one arm above my head tightening
up crappy nylocs that won't turn by hand, and I hate the bruse that is growing on my right elbow from supporting my upper body weight onto
aluminium chequer plate.
And I don't have a non-stainless 10mm nut that I need to do this again and I only went to B&Q earler this evening

just give me 10 minutes in a dark alley with Ron Champion and a big stick. I don't even care who's weilding the stick.

No consolation , but I dont think 'Ron Champion used floor mounted pedals, neither did I 'cos I thought they would be more awkward
.............
Having said that they are supposed to be better , as the pivot the same way as your foot...........
I had my head down the passenger side yesterday fitting a Megajolt box, it bloody infuriating..........

He He He he. Try replacing a clutch pedal on a Zantia, cos some twat broke the cable attachment clip when fitting a new
cable. . Then after they tried for three days gave up and went on holiday leaving me
to pick up the pieces.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Get a 1/4 drive air ratchet and compressor
Jolly... I once took a forklift truck completely in bits. Then left the company. Gary the guy who had to put it back together never did forgive me
