3d model help required

On the yahoo BEC group in the files section there is a Pro/Engineer file of a Hayabusa engine. I don't have Pro/Engineer but do have Pro/Desktop 2001. However I can't seem to import the file as it errors telling me it's corrupt. I followed the link to the original file which is in IGES format but I can't seem to import that either!

What I do know is that both format files are ok as I d/loaded a trial copy of AutoVue SolidModel Pro and that shows the model correctly.

Would anyone be able to convert either of the two files into something that Pro/Desktop 2001 can handle? I'm no expert so I don't really know what it can handle and why it can't handle either the .prt or the .igs formats when it says it can. I assume some version issue as my Pro/Desktop is getting on a bit.

Anyway the IGES file can be found here. I've tried to attach the Pro/Engineer file but can't seem to manage it. Let me know if you may be able to help as I can either point you to it or pass it some other way.

TIA

Andy

Hi Tom,

That's much appreciated. You have a U2U with my address. Thinking about it I think you can get it from the email button below my posts.

Anyway, look forward to hearing from you.

Just looked at the email button bit. I'm sure you can work it out but just remove the no.spam.please. to get the real address. The U2U I've sent has some value anyway.
