mk blade backfiring help needed !!
hi guys ,took the car to my sisters wedding and on the way there and back it was coughing and backfiring through the exhaust .i put a new set of plugs
in it lastweekend because it had the same problem the new plugs cured the problem didnt use it for a week then same problem occured again .
the plugs look a bit black plus wet i.e fuel.
im sure its carb problems . i did ring mk put they said take it to TTS £250.00 quid,havnt got the money for that at moe.
is there anyway i can tune the carbs myself with gauges ?? or a bike garage in croydon area ??

It could be a carb problem as you say, but equally it could be an ignition problem meaning the fuel isnt getting burnt, hence the wet plugs.
To clean up the plugs properly you might need to attack them with a blow torch as normal wire brushing doesnt seem to work in a lot of cases, or just
replace them again 
As to getting it looked at around your way, it might be worth getting in contact with Gordon Griffin either through the
RGB Racers website or the Yahoo BEC list, as he lives in Croydon and used a local Rolling Road place to tune his
blade racer.
