zx9r below 2500rpm

I have now fitted the jets and air filter supplied by TTS and blocked the main air inlet as described by them. The engine now starts with the choke and can then be reved and the choke released. Problem now is that as soon as the revs drop below 2500 rpm the engine dies. If you hold the revs at 2500rpm the engine runs (a bit rough) and will pick up fine if reved.

Anyone know what i need to do, or any tips?? Please help!!

Had same prob with blackbird engine !
If it will only tick over on choke then your mixture is to weak, to richen it you need to experiment with your needle heights . I had to drop four notches. When you get it to tick over you can fine tune it with your mixture screws!
Found TTS useless its trail and error im afraid

Cheers pauler,
I spoke to TTS today and they told me to set the mixture screws to 2-2.5 turns out. From what you are saying, i'm not sure if doing this will sort it, as it seems to need more than fine tuning. I'm going to block up the carburetta breather tube and/or cam cover tubes first and see what happens. Then have a mess with the mixture screws. If all that fails i will have to arse about with the needle hieghts (even though i don't know how to at the moment!).

I will update this as soon as i know anything
