Blade Intake Trumpets & Filter(s)

What do people do about trumpets and filters for injected blades?

There are a pair of (plastic) twin trumpets which used to be in the airbox but I'd like to replace these with either a airbox which sits off the side of the engine (rather than the top) or a set of individual trumpets and socks or a single filter.

Whats the choice? I presume you can get some trumpets which bolt on?
I've seen ITG filters used quite a bit, are these just standard filters with a custom backplate for the blade spacing?

Thoughts, pictures, advice welcomed.

A 'sausage' type filter is a popular choice for BEC's - ITG and Pipercross are the most common used.

These are normally used in conjuction with the standard air trumpets and a blank baseplate for the filter to mount onto. The baseplate has to be cut to match the spacing of the engine's trumpets, and drilled in appropriate positions to mount onto the throttle bodies.

I've supplied both ITG and Pipercross filters to members on here. If you want a quote, please U2U me.

Best Regards,

Steve.
