I have spare coils and a spare 97 (so would need a resistor) CDI you could gladly borrrow, but i'm in South Leicestershire, so unless someones
passing who could pick them up then its going to get silly with postage.
In my humble opinion and applying a rule that I use regularly at work (Service Team Leader - (Electronic and Electromechanical equipment)), that the
more expensive, difficult to get and harder to fit a part is, the less likely it is the problem.
I especially do'nt want to take anything away from the guys who have been helping you try to sort it, but I would be surprised if it was either
of these parts and much more likely a self induced or unlucky/silly fault.
I hope i'm proved wrong.
In the mean tiime perhaps you could give us some more info as to how you've wired it, with what loom? What voltages you're getting, what
you've done with the clutch diode? ECU wires? Whatever? so we can try and help some more.
I hope this does'nt come over as patronising, it's not intended to be, just trying to help as a recent similar "victim" of the
Fireblade wiring of doom!
