tyres
can any body recomend any decent tyres for a bec for the road and occasional trackdays, 195 or 205x50x15 what would be best

depends on your requirements. You must (usually) balance grip with life, and if you want wet or dry orientated. I believe toyo r888s are grippy but
low life, my locost currently wears yokohama a021r's which are quite good. There is a very noticable warm up though, quite shady (IMHO) when
cold. Ive got a set of r888s in the garage, but not used them yet (cant bear to wear them out!)

Yoko A032's get a vote from me for the dry - not been out in the wet with them, sure it'd make for a pretty interesting drive

Toyo T1-S, excellent all round tyre for dry, wet and track days.

R888 in the wet are,as are all of this type of track day tyre,they don't have any small water grooves cut into the tyre to move the
water,they are not designed to be at there best in wet conditions,you end up with a compromise.
