yeah deffo pricey...
but worth it if you want a new reg... and only an engine loom so simple wiring maybe.. ????

The ad doesnt mention anything about an ECU, so maybe not
If its anything like my R1 wiring, Id say the "engine loom" would basically be the bit of wiring that sits over the engine for sensors
etc, which plugs into the main bike loom (which would accomodate the ECU etc).
I think for registration purposes a bike engine can be considered a single item (unlike a car engine and gearbox). Several friends have got new
registrations with old engines by "reconditioning them to manufacturers specification" and documenting it (ie 10 minutes with Word typing
out the tolerences from a Haynes manual to give to Mr SVA )

The engine loom is that bit yes, without the rest of the loom crap you need to make a zx12r work in a car...
Easy for some to create, less easy for others...
Still gotta add a dry sump which will add circa 1400 quid with the hoses and tank (aeroquip style)...
Its an expensive option for sure..
But some will like it

I thought the R1 didn't require a dry-sump, even for track events... That was the big reason I was considering one. It it really needs one
then may as well go up to the Hayabusa...

It doesn't require a dry sump, just a baffle and tulip...
