Locost 1.6 pinto to bike power

After recently finishing our luego locost we are now contemplating whether to carry on spending and get a car we are 100% happy with or to sell it and buy a megablade or some king of westfield.

We have spent way to much for what we have ended up with and wanted to ask if someone could advise how a conversion could cost.

Im not sure i could fit the engine myself so would have to spend out for that.

Would probably spend about £1000 for an engine. Im gonna need a new prop, exhaust fuel pump, fuel tank modification lots of wiring and plumbing.

Guestamating how much ?

New side panel - depending on exhaust side.
Engine cradle -
Prop -
Engine - £1000
Gear Change Linkage
Dashboard - depending on clocks

I'd say upto £2000 more.

Our exhaust currently comes out of bonnet so yeah new bonnet needed.

So ya think maybe around £3k im not holding you to or anything just after your expert advice.

Also how much did you get your zx12 engine for and did you have to dry sump it and would you recommend it?

Don't forget the possible expense of a new rear axle ratio.

Maybe at the front, probably not at the rear. Depends how picky you are and what the car is for...
