Hi all
i.m shore its been asked before but i cant find it, could anyone tell me if the zx 12r needs to be dry sumped

There is varying opinions on this. Some will say yes, others will say not.

We are currently running with just a shortened and baffled sump. No problems to report so far.

Thanks for that, that is what i was hoping you would say, Hellfire was you running a blade engine not to long ago????

Yep, we sure were. Unfortunately however, Dad knocked a concrete lamp-post down with it. Nothing wrong with the blade engine but we decided it was an appropriate time to upgrade to a ZX12R.
